Mike and Lisa Schlabra are the friendly faces behind Timberline Glamping Lake Lanier at Shady Grove Campground—and your unofficial welcome committee (along with their equally enthusiastic dogs). Don’t be surprised if your first greeting comes with a wagging tail.
By day, they’re university professors and retired K-12 administrators; by life, they’re pros at family time. With 6 children and 17 grandchildren, they’ve mastered the art of making people feel right at home—and they bring that same energy to every guest who rolls in.
